Global Youth Diplomacy Community in Türkiye

Global Youth Diplomacy Community in Türkiye (GYDCT) is a youth-led platform dedicated in fostering global cooperation, leadership, and diplomacy among young people from the Global South and beyond.

GYDCT was founded on 12 October 2025 in the General Assembly of the 1st Global Youth Diplomacy Summit, initiated by the Indonesia students association in Türkiye, alongside Bangladesh, Thailand, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Central Africa Republic, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Libya, Tanzania, and Morocco students associations in Türkiye.

Vision

To empower a generation of youth who actively contribute to global peace, diplomacy, and sustainable development through education, dialogue, and leadership.

Mission

To create a platform in Türkiye where youth from all regions engage in diplomacy, build global networks, and develop the competencies necessary to become future policymakers, diplomats, and changemakers.

  1. Promote understanding and cooperation among youth of different nationalities, cultures, and faiths.
  2. Organize educational programs, conferences, workshops, and summits related to diplomacy, international relations, and leadership.
  3. Support the participation of international students in global affairs and cross-cultural dialogue.
  4. Collaborate with universities, international organizations, and youth networks worldwide.
  5. Encourage youth research, policy innovation, and advocacy on international issues.
  6. Serve as a bridge between Türkiye’s youth communities and the global diplomatic environment.
